Alcoholism and its effects

Alcoholism is a broad term for problems with alcohol,  and is generally used to mean compulsive and uncontrolled consumption of alcoholic beverages,  usually to the detriment of the drinker's health, personal relationships, and social standing.  It is medically considered a disease, specifically a  neurological disorder, and in medicine several other terms are used, specifically "alcohol abuse" and "alcohol dependence.-wikipedea

Here are some effects of being alcohol dependent into your life:

1. Alcohol causes about 17 Thousand Car accident deaths in the United States each year.
Drunk driving is involved in 39 percent of all fatal accidents and about 7 percent of all crashes in the US.
Teen drivers are espeically at risk.
2. Alcohol is a common feature in abusive relationships, so if your partner is an alcoholic you might have to deal with erratic mood swings and unpredictable behaviour, arguments and aggression, recklessness (DUIs), the risks to your children and so on.
3. Alcohol abuse is within the top 3 reasons students fail to complete their high school education. It goes without saying, that a teen on drugs will rarely complete high school.
4. Alcohol is often linked to violence and anti-social behaviour.alcohol-related incidents such as street fights, bar brawls, breaches of the peace and drunk and disorderly conduct take place in the UK every week. More than half of all violent crime is committed by offenders who are drunk and more than a third happens in and around pubs and clubs. When we’ve been drinking we’re more likely to misinterpret other people’s behaviour and misread social cues. This could be the reason why so many drunken fights start over little more than a ‘dirty look’.
5. Jobless

These are only few effects of alcohol in your life, too much drinking of alcohol is not the answer of your problems, instead involve your self in sports or other social activities in your society and gain more friends who will listen to your problems and give you some true advise.
