It is very important that you know the proper procedures in wearing contact lenses and always follow the recommended wearing schedule. Wash your hands with an anti-bacterial soap, avoid using soap with cream, then fully rinse your hands, dry with towel before touching the contact lenses, also refrain using lotion and oily cosmetics before touching the lenses. Use your fingertips and avoid contact with you fingernails. Do not substitute sterile saline solutions for multi-purpose solutions, rub and rinse your contact lenses as directed by your eye care professional. Do not “top-off” the solutions in your case. Always discard all of the leftover contact lens solution after each use. Never reuse any lens solution. Clean, rinse and air-dry your lens case each time lenses are removed. Do not expose your contact lenses to any water: tap, bottled, distilled, lake or ocean water. Check the lens if it is floating in the solution by shaking the lens package.

Make it a habit to start with the lens for your right eye, to ensure you place the right lens in the correct eye to avoid the mix-ups or confusions. Carefully examine the lens if its clean and clear, if there are broken lenses do not use it.

Place the middle finger of the same hand close to your lower eyelashes and pull down the lower lid, Use the forefinger or middle finger of the other hand to lift the upper lid. Place the lens on the eye. Slightly release the lids and then blink. The lens will center automatically. Use the same procedure when placing the lens for your left eye.

  1. I've been wearing Contact Lenses a lot recently because they are super comfortable and easy to wear. They are absolutely stunning and very doll like and I find these lenses to be quite dramatic :)
